MISSION
HARVEST OFFERING - This year's Mission Harvest Sunday offering will
be going towards SMBC's Short-Term Mission Fund and also to support Pastor
Madou in Burkina Faso. Pastor Madou's work with the young church is a
vital part of the team approach that the Bergens and Warners are pursing
in their mission to the Nanerige people. His living and working expenses
are $3,000 per year. The Short- Term Mission Fund has been a vital resource
for the Outreach Committee to affirm and help with the expenses of many
of our teams and individuals involved in short-term missions. Please pray
about your involvement in these two important projects. |
|
BRING YOUR
SMILE! - As part of our annual Mission Harvest Sunday again this year
we want to take an all-church picture. Following the morning service we'll
move over to the Fellowship Center courtyard and have a group picture.
If the weather is a problem we'll move into the gym. Don't forget to smile! |

son Zouman, (he is the first man to "convert" to Christianity as this
new church has begun) Adyara, a neighbor woman of the Bergen's, Safi-
